Genki - Conveyor belt sushi

Shibuya yokocho - food alley. Also very touristy
Kaitnzushi means conveyor belt sushi. Of all the conveyor belt joints in Tokyo, Genki is one of the biggest. We dropped by one of their Shibuya locations after looking for a post-concert snack.

The tablet makes cutes-y clicks every time you tap. Multiply that by 100 other people and it's like being in pachinko parlor
The sushi is average at best, but never horrible. Ambiance is a brightly-lit casino, with rows of diners tapping noisy tablets and scrolling through variations of the same 4 fish. If you don’t want to speak a word to another human being, you don’t have to, which probably explained why everyone was a tourist.

It's not the best uni, but it's less than $2.
Fun to experience once. Gets props for being pretty cheap and open a bit later but there are much better options.

Getting a piece with yuzu or other toppings can help keep things interesting
